Every year we attend the Sportsmen’s Show in Toronto and not only was it in a new venue this year, but we also found a lot of new products you need to have for this fishing season.  We’ve put together a short list of the products that will have you catching more fish!

 

	StrikeTech Reels   StrikeTech’s reels were featured on episode of ABC’s New Inventors in Australia.  Now available in Canada, they’re sure to shake up the lakes.  We all know the importance of presentation, the jigging, twitching, etc.  Now there is a reel that does it all for you and allows you to adjust the amount of action.  StrikeTech’s two-piece Live Action Spool moves off center varying your retrieve.  Once the fish strikes and you set the hook, the spool returns to center allowing a smooth fight like a traditional spinning reel.    There are 3 reels in their lineup, the STGG with 2+1 bearings and full graphite body, the STGA with 5+1 bearings and full graphite body, and the STAA series with 6+1 bearings and an aluminum body.  StrikeTech’s lineup has a reel in your price range and they all come equipped with their patented Live Action Spool.  We recently tested the StrikeTech STAA series reels and were we ever impressed.    Read our full review of the StrikeTech ST30AA and be sure to check out the video.
